FAQ
No. ComplyStream is invoicing software for Shopify. Under FBR rules you still select a licensed integrator — typically PRAL, which is free — in IRIS. We submit invoices using your token through that integrator relationship. See How ComplyStream works with FBR for the full explanation.
Yes. Each merchant needs sales-tax registration (where required), Digital Invoicing enabled on IRIS, a licensed integrator selection, and their own sandbox then production token. ComplyStream never shares one FBR account across shops.
Yes. PRAL is FBR’s own automation arm and is available as a licensed integrator at no charge. You still pay for ComplyStream (or any other software) that helps you prepare and submit invoices from Shopify.
Most stores finish IRIS registration, PRAL selection, token copy, IP whitelist, and a sandbox test in one focused session once FBR approvals clear. Approval wait times on IRIS vary; the in-app setup guide walks each screen.
The order stays in Shopify. ComplyStream shows the FBR error on the order so you can fix HS codes, buyer details, token, or whitelist issues and retry. Failed attempts do not create a valid FBR invoice number.
STGO 01 of 2026 allows edits, deletions, and cancellations of a valid electronic invoice within 72 hours; after that you need Commissioner approval. Plan your COD submit timing carefully. Confirm what ComplyStream supports for cancellations in the product before relying on it for high-return flows.
Your token is stored encrypted for your shop only and used to call FBR endpoints you configure. You can revoke access by rotating the token in IRIS and updating settings, or by uninstalling the app.
No. ComplyStream helps you submit digital invoices from Shopify. Registration scope, rates, and filing obligations should be confirmed with your tax advisor against current FBR SROs and the Sales Tax Act.
